- 2025 round: closed. The last day to apply was 5 September 2025. Applications closed on 6 September 2025.
- 2026 round: not announced. The Budget 2026 speech and the Pre-Budget Statement 2027 do not name a new round of the grant.

- Do not pay anyone to apply. There was no application fee in the 2025 round.
What the 2025 round paid
Geran Digital PMKS MADANI (GDPM), in English the MSME Digital Grant MADANI, is a Budget 2025 initiative of the Ministry of Finance. BSN paid the grant, with MDEC and MCMC.
In the 2025 round, the grant paid 50% of the invoice from an appointed partner, up to RM5,000 for each MSME. An MSME could apply for up to 3 types of service. BSN paid the grant directly to the partner, so the MSME paid only its own half.

Who could apply in the 2025 round
These were the 2025 rules. A new round can change them.
- At least 60% owned by Malaysian citizens.
- Registered with SSM, or with a business licence from the local council (PBT), or a cooperative registered with SKM. Professional service providers registered with their statutory body could also apply.
- In operation for at least 6 months.
- Average yearly sales of at least RM50,000.
- No earlier digitalisation matching grant. The one exception was an application for e-Invoice services.
Documents to prepare now
The 2025 round asked for these documents. Keep them ready, so you can apply on the first day of a new round.
- The IC or passport of the owner, director or partner.
- Your registration document: SSM, SKM certificate or statutory body certificate.
- Your latest audited accounts or management accounts, or your last 2 months of bank statements.
- A quotation or invoice from the appointed partner.
- Any other documents that BSN asks for.

What is the MSME Digital Grant MADANI?
It is a Malaysian government matching grant, in Bahasa Melayu Geran Digital PMKS MADANI (GDPM). It is a Budget 2025 initiative. BSN paid it, with MDEC and MCMC. In the 2025 round it paid 50% of the invoice from an appointed partner, up to RM5,000 for each MSME.
Is the MSME Digital Grant open in 2026?

How much did the grant pay?
In the 2025 round: 50% of the invoice, up to RM5,000 for each MSME. For an invoice of RM10,000 the grant was RM5,000, and above that the MSME paid the difference. An MSME could apply for up to 3 types of service.
Who is eligible for the MSME Digital Grant?
In the 2025 round: at least 60% Malaysian-owned, registered with SSM, PBT or SKM (or a registered professional service provider), at least 6 months in operation, average yearly sales of at least RM50,000, and no earlier digitalisation matching grant except for e-Invoice. A new round can change these rules.
How do I apply for the MSME Digital Grant MADANI online?
In the 2025 round you got a quotation from an MDEC-listed partner, then applied online on the official platform (the Funding Societies form) with your documents. A new round is not open yet. Click Notify me on WhatsApp, and we will tell you when you can apply.
Do I have to pay anything?
Yes, your own half of the invoice. In the 2025 round you paid it within 14 days through the link in the approval email, and BSN paid the other half to the partner. There was no fee to apply.
Can I use the grant for BCL?

I got a digitalisation grant before. Can I apply again?
In the 2025 round, an MSME that received a digitalisation matching grant before could not apply. The one exception was an application for e-Invoice services.
How long does approval take?
In the 2025 round, approval took up to 3 working days, and BSN sent the result by email.
What happens if I do not pay within 14 days?
In the 2025 round the approval was cancelled, and you had to apply again.
Is the SME Digitalisation Grant the same grant?
Many people use "SME Digitalisation Grant" or "MSME Digital Grant" for this grant. The official name is Geran Digital PMKS MADANI (GDPM), in English the MSME Digital Grant MADANI.
