How it runs

Two nodes: the Certificate Generated trigger, joined to a Send Certificate Link action.

Before you switch it on

Sends through Wabot. Connect it under Platform Setup, then Integrations, then WhatsApp (Automation) before you switch it on.

  1. Connect Wabot

    Go to Platform Setup, then Integrations, then WhatsApp (Automation) and connect your Wabot account.

  2. Use the template

    On Automations, click Templates and choose Use Template on Certificate Wabot Notification. It opens switched off.

  3. Pick your event & message

    Choose your event in Specific Event Form on the trigger, then reword the message. {certificate_url} is the link to the certificate.

  4. Update & activate

    Click Update Automation, then Activate.

When does the WhatsApp go out?

When a certificate is generated for a participant of the event you picked in the trigger.

Can I email the certificate as well?

Yes. Add a Send Email step with {attendee_email} as the recipient and {certificate_url} in the message.

A participant did not get it. Where do I check?

Open the automation and click Overview. Each run shows whether the WhatsApp step completed or failed.
